A Professional SD Duplication Platform for Validation and Card-Level Visibility
The SD200PC is a PC-based SD card duplication system designed for environments where visibility into the duplication process and access to card-level information are as important as throughput. It is commonly used when SD media is part of a controlled workflow and must be prepared, verified, and documented rather than simply copied.
The platform is built on a USB 2.0 architecture and is classified as previous-generation equipment within the Nexcopy lineup. Despite the older interface, the system remains widely deployed in validation, inspection, and traceability workflows where consistency and visibility matter more than raw transfer speed.
Unlike basic duplicators that function as blind copy engines, the SD200PC operates through a Windows workstation using Nexcopy software. This allows operators to configure jobs, monitor progress, validate outcomes, and access reporting features that support structured production requirements.

When the SD200PC Is the Right Choice
The SD200PC is selected when organizations require more control and transparency than standalone duplicators can provide but do not yet need multi-unit infrastructure systems.
It is commonly used by teams that need to verify data accuracy, capture SD card metadata such as CID values, manage repeatable preparation workflows, or integrate duplication into broader quality-controlled processes.
Engineering labs, validation environments, manufacturing test lines, and deployment teams often rely on the SD200PC because it supports deliberate, inspectable workflows rather than opaque automation.
Why the SD200PC Uses a PC-Based Architecture
The SD200PC operates through a PC-connected workflow to provide visibility and control during production. By running through a Windows workstation, operators can configure jobs, monitor activity, and validate results using Nexcopy software rather than relying on blind push-button execution.
This architecture enables practical production features such as job logging, checksum verification, multiple copy methods, image-based workflows, and reporting functions that are not available on basic standalone duplicators designed only for speed.
The PC-based design also enables inspection capabilities, including access to card-level information such as CID values, which are commonly required in engineering, validation, compliance, and traceability workflows.
Production Duplication Without Altering Card Behavior
The SD200PC performs duplication at the file system and device level without modifying SD card behavior. Data is written accurately and verified, while each card remains a standard, fully functional SD device after preparation.
This approach supports workflows where media must remain writable, reusable, and broadly compatible after deployment while still providing confidence that prepared cards match the intended source.
Copy Methods and Production Workflows
The SD200PC supports six copy methods, giving teams flexibility in how content is sourced and written rather than forcing every job into a single duplication model.
Six Copy Methods Supported
- File Copy – copy files and folders only
- Full Device Copy – bit-for-bit duplication
- Smart Device Copy – intelligent copy excluding empty sectors
- IMG Copy – write from pre-built image file
- Copy Add – append files to existing content
- Unique Data Streaming – individualized data per device
Unique Data Streaming for Individualized SD Content
Unique Data Streaming allows different data to be written to each SD card during a single job. This is commonly used for serial numbers, license files, certificates, identifiers, configuration files, or device-specific assets.
The feature is designed to integrate into existing data preparation pipelines rather than impose a rigid structure, allowing teams to retain control over how individualized content is generated and applied.
SD Data Extraction to Host Storage
The SD200PC also supports read-back workflows, allowing data to be extracted from connected SD cards and saved to host storage. This is useful for inspection, validation, collection, and archival scenarios.
Extracted data can be consolidated into a single destination or automatically organized by source device, with optional post-processing actions such as secure erase or formatting available to support controlled media reuse.
