Previous Generation Duplicator Systems Supporting Older USB, SD, and CompactFlash Technologies

Nexcopy CompactFlash (CF) card duplicator system used in legacy production environments

Nexcopy’s previous generation duplicator systems are based on USB 2.0, SD, and CompactFlash (CF) platform architectures. These products remain supported for compatibility with established workflows, long-term deployments, and specialized environments.

USB 3.0 technology was introduced in 2008 and gradually became the industry standard in the years that followed. Nexcopy’s current-generation duplication systems were developed shortly after and are now the focus of ongoing development, performance improvements, and feature expansion.

Earlier-generation platforms are maintained to support customers who require continuity with existing infrastructure, validation processes, regulatory environments, or media compatibility requirements.

Earlier microSD duplication systems based on USB 2.0 architecture are no longer available due to end-of-life (EOL) status of critical bridge components and are not part of the current product lineup.

Platform Status

These systems are considered legacy platforms. While they remain operationally supported, new deployments are generally better served by Nexcopy’s current-generation USB 3.0 duplication systems, which offer higher throughput, expanded device-level controls, and ongoing architectural development.
