Nexcopy [via www.recycleusb.com] has partnered with Sugar Labs to offer data loading services for Sugar on a Stick, a portable learning platform for children between the ages of 5-12. The Sugar solution is a free standalone computer environment which runs from a USB flash drive.
Sugar Labs, a nonprofit provider of the Sugar Learning Platform, makes Sugar On A Stick available for free to anyone and everyone. Sugar on a Stick can be loaded onto an ordinary 1GB USB flash drive [or larger] and used to reboot any PC or netbook directly into the award-winning Sugar environment.
Nexcopy is proud to partner with a nonprofit organization such as Sugar Labs. We believe the Sugar Learning Platform is clearly a step in the right direction for getting children involved with personal computers. Our objective is to give Sugar Labs the back-end equipment support needed to make this philanthropy successful and help with producing the large number of Sugar Sticks needed for global deployment.
